Happy 4th of July

Wow!  It enormity of this ride hit me today.  I got up and made it to church for the first time in a while.  I will admit that I have not been "worshiping" in the traditional manner the last couple months.  Trying to ride multiple days with back to back to back 100+ mile rides has prevented me from going to church.  However, as most of you that know me know, I consider each bike ride as a unique worship service.  I am amazed by Gods wonderful earth and the neat things that He puts out for us to see if we will take the time to look for it!

Anyway, I made it to church in time and was pleased to be able to stand and sing God Bless America and America the Beautiful.  I was overcome with emotion as I attempted to sing these two songs. (My apologies to those I was sitting next to as I know I sounded awful!) It hit me and hit me hard that I will truly be living "America" over the next month.   I am very very blessed and lucky to have the opportunity to see our Great Land first hand.

I hope yall have a wonderful and safe Independence Day!

My prayer for you, "May God watch over you and keep you safe, healthy and strong! May the weather be perfect and if not, still good enough to ride. I pray that this experience exceeds all of your expectations." Amen

Phil 4:13 I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who gives me strength

Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint

Isaiah 40:29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak

Psalm 18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
